When graphing a sine graph you need to find the period, amplitude and key points.
The equation for graphing sinuoids is y=asinx or y=acosx.
y=sin(bx) y=cos(bx)
To find the period you use the equation p=2pi/b The period is the smallest possible value of p in which the function completes one full cycle
To find the key points you take whatever you get for the period times 1/4 (quarter it) The key points are all of the x-values of peaks, troughs, and points that cross the mid-line. *Divide the interval into four equal parts. Divide the period by four and this is the distance between each point.
